Ivy and Floral Wedding Inspiration at Hycroft Manor
Ivy and floral wedding inspiration at Hycroft Manor
Green ivy, pastel pink bow and champagne tulle were just some of the elegant details that characterized this romantic photo shoot at Hycroft Manor. A team of Vancouver wedding professionals came together to create a scene perfect for any couple with an affinity for vintage style, soft botanical touches and lovely little details that make a celebration their own.
Here’s what photographer Laura Sponaugle had to say about the inspiration behind the beautiful shoot:
Hycroft Manor is one of Vancouver’s premier wedding venues and holds a special place in my heart. No wonder Vasia and Therese from Boheme Workshop chose this incredible place to work their magic. As you walk up to the beautiful Edwardian property, you will be struck by its grandeur and instantly drawn into the fantastical romance of decades past. A perfect place for a couple who appreciates old-school panache, Hycroft Manor embodies the class of the early 20th century combined with the liveliness of les temps Modernes.
With the floral creativity of Celesia Florist, the stunning calligraphy of Christine Williams and the gorgeous decor of Cross Designs and Taffete Designs, this was truly the work of Vancouver’s finest, bringing pieces of the past together to create a bold statement of luxury. Vasia and Therese hosted the ceremony on the viewing terrace: elegant curtains adorned a beautiful chuppah framed with vines for perfect visual balance. To blend the ceremony into the natural setting, the chairs were adorned with ivy, which covers the venue in the warmer summer months. Ivy has also been incorporated into the centerpieces of the table, accompanying the lush arrangement of white peonies, peach and lavender roses. For the bride with the distant gaze in her eyes, Hycroft Manor and its immaculate grounds offer the fantasy and romance every couple deserves on their most important day.
